Very close to looking a bit on the Humerosa side. Take some more pics please.
Who has the best prices on Hikari Massivore pellets? Fosters n Smith? Als?
Where can I get blackworms?

Got the Prazipro and some mussels in the half shell. Also bought Cichlid gold and massivore. Tryin gto wean rays off shrimp and onto pellets.
Miles, how long did you starve them till they took pellets?
I have been trying to soak the pellets with shrimp juice.

The rays have yet to fully develop a liking to the pellets.. the larger guys are going to be weaning over soon now that they are in the big tank..

Heres some pix of the big M/F

I just brought home 2 more tiny ones the other day and they are in QT right now.. :D

WOW miles what a great improvement, I think it is great that you are trying to make smaller, healthier captive breed rays available to people. I wish that I could do something like this but I don't have enough space, maybe some day I will though. More people should follow your lead and do this. Are you going to be at the stingray symposium in August? If you are I look forward to meeting you, you seem very knowledgable. Do you recommend treating every ray for parasites or only the ones that obviously have it? How do you know when a ray has parasites?

Not going to be at the Synposium it looks like.. my wife is due to have our child that week. :irked: Hopefully I can get it on DVD..

Ray parasites.. tough question. I always like to treat with mild meds as a precautionary, just because the chances of the parasites getting worse during transport increases with improper handling/husbandry.. so.. My 2 new rays are pretty skinny, and produce bright green and white poop, not lookin so healthy. They are making daily improvement :D
