I haven't had the time to check this site like I used to be able to lol. But I just took a couple of pics of the Xingu both fish are getting better color and growing slowly. I will take some more pics of the Lapidifer later tonight. 
Lol yeah thought you went MIA haha. But yeah my xingu looks just like your but, my laps haven't colored up yet...
Heres some pics of my lapidifer from tonight his throat is getting really orange i noticed and is starting to color up more and more. I don't know why there are 3 of the same pics and sideways lol

been a while since I have been on here. Here are some pics from today. putting on a little size.
Whoa stranger! Lol jk, their putting on some nice size. Although my large lapidifer seems to not color up but, the smaller guys seem to be. I'll try get some pics up tonight.
Never did try and put a powerhead in their current tank but, when they were smaller I had one in there and they didn't seem to admire it so in their upgraded tank I ditched it. Currently their in a community 300g with no powerhead and seem to enjoy it.
