retuning to the world of fish

Hi everyone. Been cruising your forums for a while and have decided to get back into the hobby. My current goal is to build a plywood tank just cause I can. Two quick questions, would a reverse osmosis system clear up water taken from a water change, and are there any freshwater inverts that would live well with an oscar?

I think inverts would all just be a nice meal for a good size oscar, but it would be a cool mix while/if it lasts.

Welcome to the forums! I couldn't tell you much about a reverse osmosis system. However, I can tell you know I am not aware of any invertebrates that would work well with an Oscar.

Bummer on the inverts. I wouldn't want to spend the cash for a short term buffet for my future fish. I'll keep researching to ro filtration thing, might find something useful.
