My return pump has a 3/4" threaded outlet, My question is, would it be ok for me to run the return line all in 3/4 PVC or should i expand it to 1" or 1 1/4" ?
Would that improve my flow?

bigger =better=more flow

You'll see gains by stepping up to a larger diameter, especially if you have a few 90 degree fittings, other than cost and having bulkier plumbing there's no downside to going larger.

maybe this will help. if you make it larger you have the ability to flow more water, but when you make it larger you also should have less pressure so you should be flowing more water, just not at any speed. does this make sense?

bigger diameter = less pressure (so you return line isnt like a pressure washer) = higher flow = more GPH

From the other board:
If the outlet of the pump is 3/4 than there is only so much water that can be pushed through that opening.
That is 100% true.
