looks great mate, what ended up happening to your clown knife?? sell him on to someone else??

He's got his own tank now that is just him and the gold fish I put in there to feed him and a large pleco. Not much to look at but necessary if I wanted to do something with that tank...

The next best purchase should be more clown loaches. But then again, what is the tank water like?

Dunno what the water is like. The white sand is crushed coral and it should keep the PH high. Otherwise I have no idea. I don't own a single test kit. I just do my water changes and feed well and everything else takes care of itself...

watch that auratus. they dont always play nice as they get bigger.

except for a the loaches and bristlenose, ya def have an african tank. get some Victorian Haps and your good...

The Auratus is pretty aggressive. I would not be upset at all if I had to remove him from the tank.

One of the two main pet stores I go to in St. Louis has Clown Loaches in with two African Display tanks. I like the fish. Great personalities and they can hang in this environment. So I picked up 3. I have two good size ones in a SA planted tank.

Victorian Haps? Will look into that. Standing pat for the time being. Added quite a few fish in the last month. One of the little Bristlenose plecos didn't last. Died within a couple of days being in the tank. The other one is doing great. Tiny little guy.

i like the aquascaping... the fish r watever though :P

The fish have a lot of potential. Really good color for being all of an inch long right now. At least all except the Labs and the Kenyii. Right now the focal point of the tank is the aquascaping because the fish are so small. That will change though...

Bad news. Had my first casualty. I bought two very small bristlenose plecos. One died. Found him last night. No sign of cause of death. Maybe the move was just too much for the little guy. He was about an inch standard length. The other one is going strong. Need a couple more to help with the algae growth on the back glass...

Nice set up. Sorry to hear about the Bristlenose - they're normally pretty tough.
