wahhhh wen my pima eats he is so feirce...im scared to handfeed cause it might be too quick for me to pull away! how big is ure pond gona be? u can have my pima for free if u want. i only rescued it from the fish shop cause it was probably going to die. now mine is like 15-16 inches and fat as ever!

i really love mine to death...its just that i saw the one in xian leng and there is no way that my pond can house him for life (his name is lucky). im not sure how many years he will be ok in a 16' by 8' pond though :s

i bought shrimp daily at local market..fresher is better..

how about upgradin ur pond or just release at lake behind ur house..now you get the idea why pirarucu get the great monster title huh..there was a pond that placed monster arapaima, the owner said about log size..i'd better go and take pic next time..
