Reverse lens Candle, *Macro attempt*

When you remove the lens the camera thinks the aperture is entirely open, hence F00. The actual aperture is still determined by the lens, it's just not registered by the camera.

That's the greatest explanation I've read yet. Thanks. Everyone thing else I've read about it just got too technical.

Do you have a part number for the reverse lense adaptor/ ring. I tried to order one yesterday but was told there is not one made to suit Canon but your pic clearly shows otherwise.

Those DIY ones are scary cause I get always get the feeling my lens is going to fall out and break.

I think I'll just save up and get some of those kenko extensions because you can use the AF confirm.
