What f stop were you using? Are you bouncing or diffusing your flash? I can't really see what's going on with your macro studio.

I got one of those cheap $5 reverse adapters from ebay that screws onto the uv filter.

when I use the reverse lens the camera can't find the lens so the camera registers the f stop at f00. I'll take a picture the setting and post it.

yeah there is no f-stop when doing reverse lens. unless you have a lens that has an aperture ring and you can adjust it manually. otherwise youre stuck trying to jam a piece of paper into the metal clip behind your lens that opens/closes the aperture.
