It's heartbreaking, basically all of my favorite hunting, fishing, and other wild places I loved have been destroyed, the waterways destroyed and degraded, the wildlife overharvested or simply casually destroyed , and always for profit , at the expense of the rest of the world, the funny thing is people think they can do that forever, they're in for a surprise
Ever read revelations? It speaks of a nuclear winter sort of scenario, a interesting read, it also speaks of I believe 1/3 (or 2/3?) the plants and animals in the world dieing, and I believe "seas of blood" (red tide), at the time of the writing that surely seemed preposterous, many people feared to enter the vast forest, and fearsome beast like lions were a constant threat (and common fate) to travelers.
