Revival of my planted tank

bout time you responded!! one of the best planted tank people on here, and you have been taking forever to see this. lol

is the aqua scaping good? I like it but gotta know what others think.

I think ill try some micro sword just to see. any other grass like plant to try? pref something that stays short, but if not i can trim it. i just want thick grass

I like Blyxa Japoinca as a foreground. Easy, not too demanding, and grows fast. My foreground has gotten very thick. Just last night I had to pull them up and seperate them as they sound as side runners (nice way to make some money too!) I just love blyxa, it's my all-around favorite plant
 
thats ur forground plant right? hmm, gotta go look for it. is it rediculously hard to grow?
 
Yeah that's what I have. I find it very easy to grow. Out of all the plants I've ever grown, that's the one that grows the best and gives me the least problems. It will need co2 though, but aside from that, it will grow happily even with fairly low lights levels. In fact, the lower the light, the taller it will get. A lot of light will keep it short and compact.
 
ill be running DIY co2 so hopefully it will be enough. ill have to see if i can find some.

i think some nice grass would look sweet with some thai micro crabs.

Few update pics!!
Dosing with ferts. Just some crypts, some dwarf sword and i forget the other one. Gonna let it get some stable then trim the back plant. gonna make it alittle less than half the tank, and thick.

the addition of flourish excel and the standard flourish, measured with a cleaver way of getting perfect doeses(sp sucks :( ) makes this stuff grow like crazy. the back plant is putting out tons of sprouts off the base and the micro sword is actually putting out new leaves. so it is growing good :)
 
A quick update. The growth on the plants in the back is insane!! im constantly cutting it down and replanting. Be honest on what ya think.

PS the glass is usually crystal clear. I just scrapped the glass and thought id snap a pic. Maybe i shouldv waited. Oh well.
