Anyone keep these monsters? Looking to get one in the next few weeks and want to hear from those with first hand experience.

They are one of my absolute favorite lizards, Ill keep an eye on this thread... Check out the Pangea Reptile forums if you want to talk to some Rhac experts :)

Ive had a crested for about 5 years, and I can tell you that a leachie is a TOTALLY different lizardkeeping experience. Whenever I see adults at expos, I BEG to hold them, and its incredible, like a big, fat, velvety dragon.

Way more badass, thats how.

Go to your next expo, and if you see an adult, ask to hold it, its pretty freakin cool.

They're also the most vocal gecko in the world...if you get a pair prepare to hear them barking at eachother all the time.

I had a pair I just let go about 8 months ago because the female kept popping duds.

Hands down the coolest gecko you can get.

The NY Reptile Expo is on Sept 13th. I will more than likely be picking up one there. Expect pics as soon as I get it!

For the time being, I want to hear about husbandy...housing (pics), diet, decor, any bits of advice, etc etc.
