I got my group of twelve from a guy in my local fish club. He got them from a friend who imports cichlids from malawi and tanganyika, he bred the wild stock then sold F1's to local fish stores.

It's been about five years since I had them though so I'm not to sure if he is in it anymore. When I go to the next meeting in August I will see if he is still in it or if he can get some for you.

I don't know what the price will be though. I paid $400 back then for twelve wild caught fish, and I didn't really get a choice of sex since they weren't that easy for him to get. When my group fully matured I ended up with 8 males and 4 females.
