I purchased a group of lentiginosus from Wetspot Tropicals. Hopefully I can keep this thread updated regularly.
I originally obtained 7 fish. I had them in quarantine with a few Thorichthys grow outs and some Livebearers. Not exactly sure how or where, but an outbreak of Callamanus reared it's ugly head.
Through the treatment process, I lost 3 Lentiginosus, leaving me with 4 fish. These 4 seem very healthy and are doing great. 20210724_122614.jpg20210724_084437.jpg20210724_073753.jpg20210724_073743.jpgIMG_20210718_011127_647.jpgIMG_20210718_011127_649.jpg20210708_212849.jpg20210708_212810.jpg

I received a group of half dozen 1" lentoginosus from Wet Spot back in 2014.

About a year later, they were about 6"
I added a power head to their tank making use of the venturi, as they grew,
They seemed to need the extra current and oxygenation in provided

One of my favorite cichlids to keep
I raise gammerus, and mosquito larvae to feed beside pellets like AlgaeMax

duanes duanes I may get another batch of 6 - 8 to replace the 3 losses. 4 is not a good number imo, to try and grow out a pair.
I agree, and they seem very sensitive to any drop in water quality, back then, (as I do now) I was doing every other day 30 to 40% water changes to keep nitrate low 5ppm
