rhino iguana got his first taste of free roaming

i have been contemplating letting the rhino igg free roam for a while, with me around of course. so tonight seemed like a good night. he was only out for a few minutes and then he was scratching to get back into his enclosure. he also got all of his nails trimmed

and right after getting nails done

How do you trim his nails? Im having sharp nail problems with a certain large lizard too.

I use regular nail trimmers to do his nails because he is still on the small side. He just sits on my arm and I just have at it.
With my big green I will use dog or cat trimmers.
Just take it slow when you first start. Sometimes they don't like it so you have to gain there trust.

very nice, some people let their iiguanas live in there house, roaming 24/7. they cant be potty trained and everything, but i dont know how easy that is to do.
