Rhom in pitch black darkness 24-7 = Crazy Rhom

If you keep a fish in the complete dark for an extended period of time, (2-3 weeks) he will go completly blind.

I have to agree with Karajo, why get a beautiful creature, and keep it in the dark?? It will only make your fish skittish. I have a dim light on my RBP tank, and he's coming out of his shell. But the reason your dad got bit is because if they're in the dark, and the lights are bright, they flip out, since it hurts their eyes.

BTW, Your blue pitt is a handsome dog. I was looking for a blue one after we move. And my fiance's sister had a white pit. He was pretty. Now she's got a puppy, I don't know what color. B/c her friend left her white one outside last winter and he froze to death, b/c he was an indoor dog. It was sad.
