Tetra's it is.

I am Quartin' 200 Neon tetra's atm and trying to keep lucifer as fat and full as possible.

I will try to document the release lol. Til then I will beef up the Neons so they can gather strength to jet away from Lucifer.

I was thinking of a way to keep these little neon tetra's out of my sump and thought about a lesson I learned awhile ago when I locked myself out.

I had to cut my window screen to get in my house. So I went to lowes/home depot to get new window screen and had some left over in the basement.

Luckily, my overflows can detach so I used spider fishing line to tie these secure.

great idea of blocking off the overflow while still letting enough water to go through.
I had about 50 neons in my 180g but most of them ended up in my sump, I now have just one neon left in the 180g.
did you get all those neon online or locally? how much did they cost you?

He is not interested in the tetra's. But there was an epic fail on the neon tetra side.

After I acclimated the tetra's. I lost a huge % of them so there is only a mere 50 neons in lucifers tank. Guess I have to buy more. Only problem is they are no longer on sale.

I've had similar experience, if buy them in small quantity I'll have 100% or near 100% survival rate, if buy them in large quantity the survival rate reduces by a lot. no idea why, but I just had to find something to blame and I blame my overflow
