in a group of pygos, the fish should eat pretty much every time food is offered since there is competition for food.peter the graetfish;3531657; said:nice posting ? i have 2 carbi p's and 5 red bellys. 1 carbi is about 13inch and the other one is new to the tank hes about 7inch. the smaller one dont really eat and now the big one dont really eat. my red bellys eat every other day stuff like big gold fish beef heart worms ect. i have more then enough filters. can someone tell me y? new on the sight so send me direct info on my screen name please. thanks
you could start by offering healthier foods such as raw shrimp or fish fillets and pellets and completely eliminating the gold fish and beefheart. what do you mean by more than enough filters? what is your filtration setup? if you just added fish, your bio load increased and your filters may not have caught up yet.
