Rhom teeth

Now taht is cool. How big do they have to be to lose teeth? I've got a rhom at 6" Is there any chance of him losing teeth.

They lose their teeth continuously throughout their entire lives. They will lose them 1/4 at a time. for example...the teeth i have photographed are my rhoms entire lower left set. i am guessing he will lose his lower right side next. we were fortunate enough that he lost all of his on black sand (much easier to find). also the smaller the fish is the smaller the teeth are....which makes them harder to find. if you keep looking he will eventually lose them.

our 6" sanchezi has yet to lose any teeth under our care.
