PLAIN CITY, Ohio (WCMH) — A drug task force arrested a Plain City man on August 5 after a house raid turned up 717 grams of alleged cocaine.
Richard Gould, 52, was charged with one count of felony drug possession, according to a press release.
On August 5, deputies from the Union County Sheriff’s Office assisted agents from the Ohio Casino Control Commission with executing a search warrant at 9970 Ketch Road in Plain City. While assisting Casino Control Commission Agents, deputies discovered what was believed to be a large quantity of cocaine packaged for possible resale in the same residence.
The Multi Agency Drug Enforcement (MADE) Task Force started the investigation and got an additional search warrant for the residence. Deputies found drugs, firearms, United States currency, and “other evidence related to alleged drug possession and trafficking.”

Detectives seized over 40 individual bags containing alleged cocaine and multiple plastic bottles with additional suspected cocaine and “cutting agents.” The weight of the bags ranged from approximately 3 grams to 31 grams.
The alleged cocaine will be sent to the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation for testing.
Gould is being held in Tri-County Regional Jail. He was arraigned Wednesday morning in the Marysville Municipal Court where his bond was set at $150,000.00.
