Richard Gould Arrested

if those things you say are true, people like that will eventually have things catch up to them.

i'm just not really the type to take pleasure in another's grief. they only have themselves to blame, sure, but I wouldn't put them on blast like this
 
this reminds me of a time i asked if an lfs would take a fish i had and when it sells, just give me a little store credit

they agreed, and i suspected that one of the dudes working there had taken my fish, either that or he was in on it. but my fish disappeared. i was pretty pissed about it but i just let it go. the owner told me i can just take a few things since the fish disappeared but i just never did and told her not to worry about it

some months later i saw the guy, whom i suspected of taking my fish, he was at a busy corner with a sign asking for change because he was homeless

at that point i felt for the guy. i didn't feel like celebrating because he got what was coming to him
 
He should be, this way other folks on here or not on here and can see how this guy does business and scams people. No different than a member on here scamming someone, being banned, re-registering trying to scam again and then someone posting about that guy. I forget the name of the big time offender last year.
 
well, I get it if he was a member or a vendor on here

but he's not so I mean, you might as well post about a car salesman that tried to scam you or something like that

you kind of came off a little spiteful.
 
I've never heard of the guy but I don't see any problem making a thread about him since he was a businessman in the hobby and is known in some circles.I'm not sure if I would have posted his photo and name,I probably would have posted a link to his situation and left it at that.

Whats the difference if his pic is on the site or in the link? Either way people would have seen it. He has dealt with a lot of members on here from Ohio for the most part, including myself. Made me drive 2 hours for a fish he didn't have but said he did. But no matter what, his pic is posted for all to see and lets other see just how bad of a guy he really was.

If this guy had nothing to do with any members on here, I wouldn't have posted it.
 
After you explained further I finally got it. At first it appeared like it's just some random John Doe. Nothing really said he was involved in the fish game aside from your personal story. Now I get it though

I would not have been in a good frame of mind had that happened to me....So what happened after that,how was it resolved?
 
I cant remember if I got any fish, my friend did, just some red devils. He has us walk around his basement and he was pointing out fish I wasnt interested in. He did have a pair of fish, some type of SA, can't remember what kind but he said it was possibly sold to someone who was on their way in 15 mins. We were at his house for a little over an hour and nobody showed up. We then left and headed to cpr_mike's house, a few LFS stores and then to Big Richs house. The money my buddy used to pay for the fish went to someone else the Rich owed money too because my buddy gave me the money and I used my PP account to send money to someone.
 
i understand better too, but at the same time, I still would've approached it differently

look at Li, his op doesn't even mention the guy's name or his mfk username. and Li would've been more than justified if he had. that would've been my approach too.

but I do understand your frustration though. I've been jipped before too. we just handle it differently
