Richmond VA Pacu

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I would think really hard about it before getting a pac Oscaroo, I got him at 2.5 inches some 21-22 years ago and he just keeps growing and growing and growing... He started in a 30 gallon and now he's solo in a 250. And I don't know if I'll have to stop at 250... as for tank mates, I can imagine even it with his size.

And contrary to popular belief, they can be very aggressive to fish smaller than they are, and over time, what aquarium fish isn't smaller than a Pacu?

I love my Pac-Man, but knowing what I know now, I just don't know if I'd do it all over again. But as it stands, he's my responsibility and I'll do what I can to provide. It's just been a long hard road - but a rewarding one too. I can't deny that.

Just promise me you'll think on it before doing so.

Curt

i will never get a 200 plus gallon anyway well until I am living alone at least... yea i will think about it if i magecly get a 200 plus gallon before i live alone witch is in a lot of years...

Wow thats one huge fish

LOL Oscaroo... your fate in terms of not getting a 200 gallon has done you a favor. I went to feed him this morning, he made a quick turn, and I got my second shower or the day. Not fun, but funny.

wow thanks for sharing................awesome gorgeous wonderful pacu............love her/him... beautiful set up.

i congradulate you............. you have given a very good life to pac-man..

wow man tank looks small but the pacu looks happy and healthy....very nice pacu! must be a real sight to see when you walk in the room

That looks like one huge fish. You should get a picture with someone standing next to the tank!

20 years, that's a long time to have a fish! How long do Pacu's usually live?
