does ricordea have sweeper tentacles? or do they only kill corals when they come in contact with them? how close can i put ricordea to other corals?

I'm pretty sure ricordia is a type of mushroom, you should be able to put the pretty close to other corals with no problem, just don't let them touch. And no they don't have sweepers.

awesome... ive heard that they can kill corals pretty easily if they make contact but i wasnt sure if they have sweepers.. n yea it is a type of mushroom...

i've seen something come out of my shrooms more than once.. i think they invert their stomachs at times, that could hurt

i've seem them rowing in between other corals.. peeking out from behind monti caps and zoos

ricordia's do not make a sweeper tentacle they don't have polyp's that have the ability to do so however they may be agitated or agitate other coral's if they touch or get too close.

If it is really a true ric, they will be fine near other corals. Other shrooms, like the hairy or frilly ones, are extremely stinging towards other corals.
