I gotta bump this.
Any updates from people using this stuff
I use rid-x still. no dead fish, and very noticeable reduction in "sludge" buildup in canisters and hobs. Unlike the weird dude who started this thread I don't blame bad fish keeping on products lol.

I don't keep rays, but I have plenty of fish that would be sensitive if rid-x containing harmful components were the issue behind the OP 2 years ago losing rays. My clown loach pack would have been dead long ago lol.

Thanks for that RD. RD. I stubbed my toe at work today, thought i'd broke the darn thing. Been in agony most of the day but after reading this old thread I soon perked up.

This forum needs guys like davidW, especially if I keep stubbing my toes at work!!! Unfortunately he hasn't been seen since Jan 2015.

BTW - for anyone wondering about post # 49, that highly toxic substance, was vinegar. Everything appears dangerous when one is reading an MSDS, or SDS as they are currently referred to.
