Rift setup update (upgrade?)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
the old tank set up is probablly better for the fish since they are rock dwellers but the new tank setup looks better and makes the tank look bigger. I always setup my tanks for the fish, not for me.

Alright thanks guys advise has been taken and changes have been made.
I switched out the substrate and added another small HOB filled with crushed coral and shells so hopefuly it will buffer.

This time I didnt even aquascape,I just sorta "dropped" them and let them stay wherever they landed....I suppose it gives it a more natural look.

Camera still cant get any moonlight pics of this tank even though the sand reflects much more light so it is brighter, sorry guys!

Anyway whatya guys think?Hopefully you guys arent tired of looking at my random aquascaping attempts yet,but at least this time I didnt start a new thread!!LOL :nilly:

to be honest i would be happy with both. i wouldn't really say one looks bigger than the other (although not a big fan of the big centrepiece shell). The rocks themselves look great though. Second tank just has the added bonus of more water.
