The vast majority of ringnecks just HATE handling. These guys are SMALL with tons of predators, you cant blame them. Bites wont hurt, but they will musk like no tomorrow and can easily get hurt by thrashing.
There are MUCH better pet snakes out there, my friend. You wanted a native species though, right? And theres nothing wrong with exotics either, but its a matter of preference.
