Those guys just don't show their true colors in photos. That bunch is so much nicer looking in real life.

More of the Heckels. Ten raised from 3.25 inch diameter last May '06 to present. They are all five to six inches in diameter. They should be mature in one more year. Heckels seem to take about twice as long as the other species of wild disus to mature. Domestics often begin spawning for me as early as 10 months but most take 12 months.
Intended future breeders. Started raising wild discus beginning 1969. Also raise domestics because they sell. but I prefer wild fish.
I have always specialized in Discus breeding but also raise Corys. plecos. killies, SA Dwarf Cichlids, basically anything difficult, rare and expensive floats my fish food tab. Just softwater types.
