X2. I see 4th bar and looks like the line goes all the way through the tail, not traits of orinos.

I'm no expert on pbass....but have either of you seen what Rio Guaviare orinos look like as juveniles to know what are their traits? Here are 2 adult Rio Guaviare orinos that I received from the same shipment, caught in the same area. Are they not orinos?

I wasn't saying I was an expert either. Those yes look like orinos. Have you seen the sticky on here on juvi orinos?? Did you actually see them see grab these adults in the same exact spot as the juvis??? I'm just sayin just cause your supplier tells you they are from the same exact spot doesn't mean he is sayin the truth. Just going as little as 1/4mile down the river system their may be other cichla species there that the supplier didn't know about. It happens no hard feeling or trying to start an argument. There is just alot on this site about juvi orinos that should point you in the right direction.

Ya, I completely agree. But I only went on what mark had them listed as. So really, idk if they really are orinos or maybe if its a pbass that's never been found before and we don't know. (Just goin on a limb) but we won't know, till they grow a lil. Did anyone get the bigger ones??

No argument intended...I've seen hundreds of orinos come though my warehouse from now 4 different locations. I have seen 2 spot, 3 spot, line to tail, line through tail variances all in the same group sometimes. All that this supplier has sent me as orinos I know turned out to be orinos.

I'm saying there more varieties and locations that bass are being collected from now that old stickies may not be doing any good in terms of identifying new locations. Rio Guaviare is a river with many rapids that feeds into the Orinoco. I do not know of anyone else who has imported these in the past for comparison. To my knowledge only monos, temensis and orinos are found in Colombia.

Here are the same exact fish in my tank in non-stress pattern. What do you think they are - possible monos?
