Out of curiosity....What is the selling price if your friend backs out.

How much to ship to NJ ?

Seeing the 5 star is giving me the umbee ich again.

I must say that 5 star makes my X fish Jr General look like a 3 star.

LOL your funny.... 5Star makes yours looks like 3 star:ROFL::ROFL: Its all about how one cares for their fish bro:D If my friend backs out the pair is 200$ and shipping will be 100-130$ I am really kicking myself in the pants for letting this one go but it really comes down to space for me and with everything else ive got going on, i dont have the proper tanks available for this pair. so i figure sell them while theyre still small and shippable:)

How big of a tank do you recommend for 5 star and his lady ? Have they actually spawned yet ?

I thought I saw babies.

On another note , I watched your umbee love video. You have a heck of a collection , and your giving me the umbee bug BIG TIME.

I'm trying to figure out whos who in terms of Z & X. Regardless of whos who they all put my old Jr General to shame.

I am guessing at whos who. Correct me if I'm wrong.

The 1st 1 min 18 sec is 5 star and his lady. From 1 min 18sec. to 1 min 58 sec is location X male with Z female. At 1 min 58 sec thats an X male as well.

I assume all the X and Z charachters are wild caught personally by UMBEEKING.

If your talking about permanent housing I would say a 180 would be calling it very close for the smallest tank. I would say at least a 240 for life. But for the next year or two they would be fine in any 6' tank. No there isn't any fry in the video but they have spawned once and I removed eggs before they hatched as I don't need Any more fry atm lol. They are currently in a 55 undivided and have been for the past 3 months. If I was planning on keeping them, they would have already been in a larger tank by now. But that's where I'm holding them for the time being.

And as far as the video goes you are right on about identification from what I remember. I do have a large z male too that was in the video, he was on the right side of the divider in monster x tank. But since I removed him and put him in my pond so monster can focus on the x female I have in there. Lol and I'm glad I could pass on the umbee bug;) and yes umbeeking collected x and z personally
 
5 Star is looking Awesome!

I have sold off quite a few of the Umbee I got from you locally :-) still have more then I need LOL I ordered bags for shipping but they sent the wrong size so I can ship some of the smaller ones but will have to wait for the bigger bags for the larger Umbee.

The largest male I got is Really coming along very nicely :-) I will be doing an update in a month or so ( I know its quite a long wait but its going to be a HUGE update so it'll be worth it :nilly::naughty:
 
After looking at the 5 star along with his lady , I would say my umbee bug is an infestation.

Now I only have my 75 gallon tank with a cichla kelberi in place of Jr Generals spot.

All the other fish have healed up nicely and are mingling quite peacefully with the kelberi.

I still miss Jr General...If only he was not so nasty torturing the rest of my fish.

Now that I see 5 star is a spitting image of dad , my umbee infatuation started up again. My plan for a 180 just may be sooner then later.

Well ive tried to get ahold of my friend.. but that guy is really hard to get ahold of LOL. as soon as i know what he is planning on doing ill update the info. And if you plan on getting umbees then the 6' tank is definitely a good idea, cause this pair will clean out your 75 in a couple hours or less. but a 75 is good for a few months;)
 
I'm sure they would clean me out. I would have to sell my other fish or get my 180 now. Whatever happens 1st.

How big is 5 star and what foods are you feeding him ?

If your friend buys the "5 star pair" then would it be possible to sell 1 of those location X or Z males :D

I still can't get over how gorgerous all your umbees are...Collection of stunners !!!
