WTF?

did you really have to be so ignorant and go there? first off, since you obviously like to keep tabs on what im doing, do some digging around. see that looooong rapps orino thread? yeah, i started it.
i have a nice group of the very first batch of these orinos. so dont go running your mouth and thinking that just because i said "supposed" means that i think any less of them. if your theory was so true, i wouldnt even both keeping orinos. id be after all the super rare species, fact is, i could care less. ill take my mono/ocells/orinos over most of whats out there right now.
sooo, now that we have that out of the way, let me explain why i said "supposed to be". i do not doubt the credibility of any of these vendors. this is simply my opinion and you can take it with a grain of salt. here goes, lets rewind to when these orinos were first brough in by rapps. everybody was all giggity and went ape poo over them, including myself. but then i found out he had another 1k+ baby orinos. red flag #1.
then IA gets more of the tiny orinos by the butt load. red flag #2. and then, snookn gets another flock of these orinos, #3. and even RW, #4. now using a little common sense and logic, i have a hard time believing all these THOUSANDS of baby orinos, all at the same size, were hand caught in the wild from the same location. sorry but i'm just not buying it. my belief is that these are being bred domestically somewhere in another country. just like all these azuls that suddenly flooded the market.
now riddle me this, orinos and intermedias come from the same river. why is that you cannot find a single intermedia on the market? if orinos are being wild caught by the thousands, dont you think there would be intermedias in there? as i said before, i have nothing but respect for these vendors and i would buy from any of them w/o hesitation. but in reality, they can only rely on the information that is given to them from the exporter.
so, you can believe what you want really, i could care less. im not gonna lose any sleep over it, and if it makes you feel better to think that your orinos are truly wild, so be it. i could really care less if a fish is wild caught or farm bred, as long as it looks good in my tank, im happy. i just hate to see folks getting all worked up over a "wildcaught" label when it might no be so. and with these rio negros, its slightly different circumstances, how many vendors have you seen posting these up for sale?
try not to be so naive next time when you refer to me as cocky, cause its so off base its not even funny
