I'm so sorry to hear about this. I don't own a puffer, but i know what its like to lose not only a fish, but a friend. I'm sorry for your loss.
 
Boo died almost 8 months ago...
 
Only just come across this as I only found the site today, and as I have a 14" MBU in a very large tank I thought I'd look them up....Sadly I come across your thread about Boo! What an amazing fish! They have such characters and I've always felt that the only reason that they live in water is cause they have to but I know mine would much rather be out of the tank doing more of the stuff we do...he's always watching tele, watched the kids kick a ball about in front of his tank...he's a real get involved with the family fish.

You must be gutted by this I know I'd have to get another one if I lost mine....Did you ever get a replacement for Boo?

Thats one of the nicest mbu ive seen in along time. looks like u really took good care it of it.

Ummm... guys, the fish died almost a year ago.
 
oh... well we will always remember it... I have a ID shark called boo, he's and I have been through lots. hopefully he dosen't go either...
