I hope he lived his fullest in my care. The algae is already on the rise and it's only been a day. He was looking silvery for a little while and yesterday he was deceased. I found him a few inches from his little happy spot. RIP to one of my oldest fish to date. 5 years + I had this guy. That's about as long as I've been knowledgeable about fish care. I'll miss him and his cool eyes.

He would fade on purpose to look whiter on this filter bag.

You'll be missed little guy.

Clark says he's going to try to bring some in. Other people have been looking for them, too.

No, hypoptopomus gulare. Otocinclus vestitus is the common, small one.

Thanks for your sympathy.

There are so many different species of oto cats...this one has a fairly unique coloration.

Pretty big, and definitely long lived. Sad to lose them.

Im going to be getting two more little ones for my 10g tank in the next couple weeks.

I just got 3 more oto today, makes 5, they are alot of fun to play hide an seek with.... I give up half the time. How big was that guy knife? an do you have any belly shots?

ohh, an sorry for your loss.
