RIP Gold Fish

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yeah its had that tumor for a few years and it just stopped eating about 2 weeks ago and I knew his time was soon to come. And yeah Ill start the tank over with a new scape and everything when the time comes, and use existing media from another tank. I really like the idea of wild caught columbian rams breeding in a planted tank with a school of tetra for dithers.

Sorry for your loss. 9 years isnt really that long for a goldfish however. Twenty years isnt unheard of and 12" isnt either. I would sell the biocube and get a 40g long. It will seem like a huge difference but only 10g bigger. Then, buy another goldfish....maybe a Sarasa or Shubunkin.
