New member here, been lurking awhile.

I have to share my misery...I found my beloved 5 year old JD floating this morning. He was a real sum*****, the most aggressive JD I've seen in 15 years of keeping them; he kept busy maiming tankmates, attacking the Python, and sometimes trying to kill me through the glass for variety. I had to keep him alone in a 55 for the last year, after he wreaked havoc and raised hell on his Oscar roommates in a 125.

Thanks for the kind words, I know only people who love fish themselves could understand. ArmanS, he was only about 8.5 inches, but very stocky and great coloration. I'll dig up a picture.

I'm on the lookout for another JD, but I rarely see any of the same quality. If anyone knows of a good source to order from, let me know. The retailers seem to be all about the Electric Blues now, I prefer the regular.

I have a reg JD, about 5.5" , got him from Petco because an owner's tank broke and they wanted to give the fish a new home. paid like 7$ too

sorry to hear that bro, usually you can buy juvies from pet chain stores if you feel like raising them from 1-2 inches heres two i got about a year ago they are about 5-6 inches long
