Keeping fish is more than just having them. It's easy to say "restock" but when you lose a fish (or in this case have to put it down) that has basically been like a dog, it's hard to just find something to take it's place
This fish was beside me when I came home from work and never stopped paying attention to me until I went to bed. It was the most attentive fish that I've had, and I'm going to miss it.

Thank you for the above statements also. This is exactly what my Oscars & my Flowerhorn are to me, so many people don't get that. I've said this many times.....but some people buy fish for their tanks, then there's the select few who buy tanks for their fish. Your Flowerhorn was one lucky guy, I bet he knew that.
