Thank you all, I'll miss him but I'm looking forward to new fish to get to know.
I have the owner of my lfs on the prowl for Bullheads he can get, and he told me to try channel cats (but don't these guys get really big?)
With my fish, I'm in it for life, and if I'm going to get a true monster that needs a pond Ill be looking into an RTC or RTC Hybrid (like a marble rtc... soooo pretty

)

There are a lot of nice doradids that will be large enough but don't grow into absolute monsters. Some are just gorgeous.Liosomadoras oncinus comes to mind!
And that is a beautiful fish! I'll be researching that guy and taking the name to Bill to see what he can do for me.
As for now, I am very excited... after walking into the
other lfs (that I don't care for much but they redeem themselves every now and then -like today-) I was looking for a pictus to go in my tank for a bit until I moved the Oscar's to their bigger tank. Well, the only thing big enough to not fit in their mouths was a 4-line cat, which aren't my favorite cats. Looking at the tank they had them labeled as Black Fin Shark Catfish

and I wondered how in the world they could have mislabeled a 4 line with I have seen in there numerous times labeled correctly. Upon closer inspection of the tank I was delighted to see a shoal of small Colombia Shark Cats in the back corner! I just couldn't help myself and I picked out the healthiest one in the group and happily brought him home.
He is 3" and will be kept in my grow-out tank until he's big enough that the Oscars won't think he's dinner. And this time I am going to have a brackish set up ready for him when he gets big enough.
Thanks for the suggestions on Cats and feel free to keep them coming if you have anymore ideas as I will be looking for a cat to keep with the Oscars when the CSC goes to his salty new home. (Pics to come)
