RIP tigrinus/mouse

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
1000 is for a perfect tig, this ones patterns are not even and it's a deformed tig (look at it shoulder)

This sucks to know that this happened. I've had this fish for about 3yrs and he was super healthy! Tigrinus patterns are known to change as they mature, his patterns were still splitting but to say he was deformed that is really offensive to me and the tig. You were not the buyer and do not know the healthy condition that it was in when it was bought. Buyer came with a friend and they both agreed it was super healthy and NO DEFORMITIES what so ever. If there were, they wouldn't of bought it.

Here is what he looked like when it was sold:

Sorry for the loss. The fish is obese (tigs store fat in front of the dorsal fin) but otherwise appears healthy in the seller's thread .
IMO something happened during transport or acclimating process (got spooked and injured itself). I just moved my 20" tig (see my sig) and I sedated him in order to avoid any potential trauma caused by the move.

what a shame.. i love them and this one was a beautiful marked fish..

The situation is unfortunate! Looks to me the fish was healthy and surrounded by other beautiful fish in sellers thread. It's not likely someone in their right mind would buy a deformed or sick fish!

@tigerjace.....it was a beautiful healthy looking Tigrinus! Sorry about your fish.

hey Jace, sorry didn't mean to offend you. i was told by other members that this tig shoulder is deform, there's nothing with the pattern.
