ow, that guy was so cool, I am sorry that happened. I wish you the best of luck. just a couple weeks ago, i had to put down about 5 fish because they were sick and the sickness was eating away at them. It is very hard to do since i have had them since they were 1" and they were reaching around 5".
I'm sorry your fish had to be put to sleep. A thing of such beauty should never have to go away.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate all of the kind words. One of these days I'll probably pick up another one, it will be a while though. I'm not planning on adding any fish to any of my tanks at the present time.
