i just found my 2 remaining triops dead. they were true monsters, one just over an inch long and one just under.
i really cant say it was natural.
it was my own stupid fault.
why?
i overfed them.
i overestimated them.
their natural habitat consists of puddles, ditches, and stagnant pools.
so since they wont take flakes, i put a few mosquito larvae and brine shrimp in the .6g bowfront. and alot, because they scavenge as they swim along. i figured that having extra food around will be fine.
i was wrong, and i lost 2 monster shrimp...my last 2.
i feel like such an a-hole right now...
But i really liked them, and i want to preserve them somehow. my parents dont really want Shrimp in the freezer, so is there any household chemical i can preserve in?
thanks

that will do the trick.... we used to preserve scorpions the same way.
