pour out a little liquor for my AT.......got this guy from dbjunkie......grew a nice fish into a huge beast. got it at about 8 ish inches 1 1/2 years ago.......time of death it was 13 1/2 inches. weighed about 3 1/2 - 4 pounds......all business.......truely gonna miss it whenever i walk into the fish room.

u raised it well.

U can tell it's big from the spacing between the bars and the size of it mouth (AT have the smallest mouths)
And the size scaled against the big clay pot. Just wondering how old it is ? My ngt is 7-8 years old now.
Does anyone reckon the silver would have lived longer is it was kept in brackish?

alan and i, dbjunkie, were calculating age and we come up with about 8-9 years old.



btw, the messed up looking mouth is from a long term relationship that went wrong.......damned puffers cannot be trusted, even after being tankmates for 4+ years

That was a nice Silver-and BIG. Has to be the biggest kept on this site? Mines touching 12" but not stable like that
