basslover has some of a similar species. He might be able to give you some insight. I was going to get some myself a while back, but it fell through. Don't see anything like that locally here ever. Have to order in anything special, and I haven't seen those bad boys in a long time.

I think HKN has one. Im also fairly certain I recall NEO obtaining on e a few months back. Don't know if he still has it.

i have the albino ones of these

very very secretive fish, always hides in pipes or below some decor
no super growth like many other monsters
had mine for like 3 months, got at 2" now he is 3.5", lives in a 120g with 4x 3" dats, and 4x 3" BN plecos
comes out only at night
eats blood worms, hikari chiclid bio gold
quite aggressive, especially to inturders in his territory

will grow very very big, to say the least

Man this is an old thread. sadly none of the rita rita cats made it at my lfs, they came in sick. i was really hoping to pick them up. Thanks for all the info every one.

love to hide under driftwood..
they r aggressive towards one another..
