  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
What giants do you currently have? I'm in Scotland, but would be more than happy to make the journey to see some cool fish.

Miguel, I have messaged but have had no response. I have even sent a message to Tropical fish keepers who wrote a piece asking for help, but still no reply? Once River Giants re-home these large fish, they will be going into our tropical pond. our long term project is to open a public aquarium that will be solely river exhibits. We have had a lot of interest and interest from a few charities, one of whom we work with at the moment (fish rescue and welfare org) we plan to use the public aquarium to show these beautiful fish to the people who would only ever see them on TV shows such as River Monsters etc, we also plan to open a science and research centre that will allow us to work with schools and colleges.

Thanks for the interest:)

Keep us posted on devs. I envy your project!

Hi and welcome was just looking at your site the other day and thought will have to order some fish, when will you be set up and is it online only for now? Thanks Ben

Thank you all for your support, its a huge project I know, but we will get there. Ben, we are working on it, just so busy with other things at the moment. We will keep you updated as to when the shop will be ready, and will only be on-line for the time being. You can also show your support and keep up to date with everything including the build of our 10x5x5 raised tropical pond by joining our River Giants group on Facebook:)

The only real solution to this problem is to get people to stop buying small redtail catfish.

That wont ever happen.

You might be able to rehome some, but at a certain point, you are going to have more redtail catfish than you know what to do with.

There will be SOME variety, but I feel as if this will end up being a large redtail pond with most other donations becoming food.

Sorry Rodger lol!

Looks like a very cool project. So what ponds do you have availeble now, and are you guys planning on owning the fish, or rehoming them?
Looking forward to following the projects, and good luck :)
