For anyone that wanted to know, I emailed Animal Planet asking if it would ever be released on BluRay. They had no clue what I was talking about.
 
I still thought the sturgeon episode was pretty cool, even if he didn't get it in alaska. I didn't like the catfish episode the week before it though, felt like it was more about the people than the fish. Shows great though, I'll watch it as long as they keep it on.
 
They have been showing them back to back all day and the Nile Perch episode is on at 10 pm EST.
 
this show is awesome i rember one time they were somewhere (Forgot where) and the tribe was going to stone him to death (same river he caught malaria at) and they had some fish there that were like snakeheads does anyone remember what those snakehead-like fish where called?
 
watching river monsters nilr perch episode right now, its my new addiction along with MFK! you have to admire the lengths he goes to,to show us these awesome fish.

Don't remember the name of that fish but he was fishing the congo river
 
Good show this week. the guy with got gored by the hipo had some nasty scars. And the falls that he finally caught the big nile perch at were beautiful.
