Ok We have a lot of river monsters threads floating around and I thought it might be a good idea to try and start and all inclusive thread for the show. To dicusse the latest episode or share info about the show and Jeremy wade.

Here is a link to the shows website.....

I had a thread with the whole first show about the bagarius yarelli but the vids were removed b/c of terms of use violations.

But the Fish that have been showcased are.

GATF
Snakeheads
Giant freshwater stingray
congo killer (catfish I don't know about)
PIRANHA
Bagarius yarelli
Gator Gar
wells catfish
pima
Piraiba
Bull sharks in fresh water

Others that will be showcased this season

Bull sharks again but in south africa
Nile perch
White sturgon

And if you look at some of the vids on his site he says they are shooting a third season already. So it will be good to see more that comes.

I'll try to post some more links that are about the show or jeremy himself later tonight.

p.s. forgive me if I missed any threads that are similar to this already I did a search and did not find one thread that was about the show as a whole. A lot of threads about the current episode for the week.

Pedro, one of the vendors, recently met Jeremy and shared his experience with us. I'd suggest linking to that thread as well!

Great thread by the way. Honestly it should be stickied - there are about five RM threads a week.

I wonder if he is a Monster Fish Keeper who just hasn't found us yet, he OBVIOUSLY has a love for monster fish :naughty:

What fish could be used in a future seasons? any suggestions?

Only so many big fish in rivers i assume

I have heard of Sturgons the size of cars that have tried to eat divers here on the columbia river in Washington, and also on a couple other rivers in the US. I have been on fishing trips where 200 ponders where caught and released, one broke my buddies hand when it slapped its tail and body agents the boat.
Would be a good monster hunt to see if these 200 year old sturgeons the size of cars or really down there.

i'm impressed at the amount of risk he is willing to take to pursue and follow his passion. You see Deadliest Catch and Swords, those people are taking the risk because their livelihood depends on their catch, but this man here, Jeremy do it for his passion. And he doesn't just catch the fish just because he wants to, he wants us to respect what nature has offered us and gain awareness, and that message came out nice and clear.
