Thats gonna give me nightmares...I can't imagine dying in such a horrific manner. R.I.P. to those who lost their lives to the soos.

pop corns readyI still find it VERY hard to believe any fish could pull in a full grown water buffalo and eat it completely.
a human I could see... but a water buffalo? Crocs have a hard time pulling similar sized animals in.

That was an awesome documentary. I'm sure there are bigger goonch in that stretch of river and like they said, as long as there is enough food and no other threats, for the most part fish will continue growing. The crazy part is how cold that water is that is sustaining such a voracious predator! Bagarius Yarelli FTW!

They showed those 6 at one spot, think if you had a dozen really large ones at one spot, and one bit the buffalo leg in deeper water where it had no control. I think the next experiment should be attaching a cam to an anchored piece of buffalo (like a back leg), and see how and if the goonch (s) go after it!
