There is more than one episode about these Suriname beast on Hunt For Big Fish.

this is offtopic. but what does Jeremy do for living? Is he independently wealthy? i know he is getting money from the show, but how did he manage to travel and do all that before he got the show? where did he get the money for his travels before they started televising his advantures?

Well, he is a biologist so I'd guess that he works for some university or organization.

i thought this episode was great! Though he only caught one which was pretty dissapointing...he did mention it took him over 3 weeks to finally catch one. i guess that just shows the rarity of the Aimara.

"i am convinced that this fish is possibly the pound for pound, IS the toughest, most monstrous fish of South America." Jeremy Wade

I want one, badly!
