Haha. Not far off from some of what I was thinking.

Looks like a dead longnose to me. Not sure what else there is to the head than that.

Definitely not a gator, doesn't look like any of the Atractosteus species, but I think I see the more prominent second row of teeth on the upper jaw?
 
Not very good with gar but I will throw some guesses out there.
1. Are the teeth a little large?
2. Is the eye a little low on the head?
3. Something with the corner of the mouth?
4. Is the head sort of turned towards the viewer while the snout stays straight?

These were all questions I asked myself, but after looking at some skulls and gar heads online, it appears that it was just the angle of the photo playing tricks (in reGARds to the snout looking like it is going off in a different direction.) I am guessing the eye socket also decomposed which is why it is so large and low. The teeth do not seem too large.
