River Monsters vs New Stupid Show

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Uh, the wolf fish episode was the last regular episode of this season besides the two "Lost Tapes" shows and the primitive fishing one. Don't worry, there will be episodes of this show until they run out of river monsters; it's Animal Planet's most-watched series ever, if I remember correctly.

As for the Bigfoot show, I find it to be pretty ridiculous, but, then again, it's super cheap to make in comparison to their high-quality shows and thus makes a half-decent filler for the summer season.

Some people really do believe in ghost and big foot.

Haven't seen or heard of the show. But I do enjoy a well done cyrptozoology show. I'm a firm believer in we don't know what's out there when it comes to the ocean, The Amazon, Most of the non inhabited jungle and forest territories in the world. Never count out mother nature.

Oh I believe there are probably millions of plants and animals undiscovered. Mother Nature has created some amazing animals. And we fairly recently discovered the basking shark. Its an enormous shark! A real Monster Fish. There's lots of wilderness out there. Especially the deep sea. There are places where we litarally CAN'T GO. They even discovered some bacteria surving in space! Once thought impossible. Someone sneezed while putting together the lunar lander, they went up there, and found a mutation of a common bacteria(can't remember the name). Proof, u can never count out Mother Nature. But I go by plausibility, a mysterious sea monster. Totally possible. But an ape-man? Never recorded, no bodies, no hair, no fossil evidence, and its intentionally hiding from humans(for some reason). Just just don't see it... I don't discount anything. I'm one of those crazy ancient alien believers. But when everything points against something, I'm highly skeptical.

I think as we continue to outgrow our habitat especially in the northwest we are going to discover a previously unknow great primate. The last great prinmate was discovered in 2004 in the Northern part of Congo. The theroy is they could be hybrids of chimp and ape.

Most recently in Bruma they discovered a new spieces of Monkey

So it's possible a man sized primate is out there and because we haven't yet imposed on it's natural habitat we haven't found it. Honestly I hope we never do find them because I know if we do that will be the next fad. Monster Primate keeping.

I personally believe that anything is possible. Do I believe in bigfoot, aliens, yeti, mongolian death worms, ghosts etc? HECK YES!

I've had some personal experiences with ghosts, so it was a see to believe it type of thing with that.

As for the bigfoot etc.. look how many eye witness's there are.. not only just in the US, but all over the world. There is no way that there are this many people all over the world making this stuff up.

Now, for example, the Loch Ness monster is a remote area in which it's spotted, so that may a different type of circumstances.

There is a show I watch called "Beast Hunter" with the host Pat Spain- they did an episode about the giant sloth- these people were in a remote part of the world where the people haven't even seen a television- he brought an ipad, and he had different pics of animals in the region, and animals from other parts etc.. there was a picture of a rhino, which are not in that area.. the guy said he's never seen that ever, and didn't even know what it was... then he flipped to the statue pic of the giant sloth, and the went berserk saying that's what he saw.

Anything is possible IMO.

Beast Hunter was a great series. I saw that episode and thought it was great he showed them pictures of other animals first then went to the gaint sloth to verify what they saw. I think it's silly to think that nothing is in the Amazon and the vast jungles and forests we have yet to explore.

Apes are already kept as pets. But they never should b. They are too dangerous. And I hope the pacific northwest will never lose its forests. I would miss the salmon, orcas, all the other amazing creatues, and especially our beautiful forests :( The salmon run is an amazing sight. Some very determind fish!
I love that show. The sloth one was especially cool. I loved it when he saw that cow on the death worm ep! He got sooo excited! Then he thought it was funny that he mistook a cow for a chemelon. Proving that even an educated person can imagine things. As he said, it all depends on perspective. The differance between the bigfoot show, and that show, is that he's actually an intellegent scientist, and like a good scientist he makes educated theories, but w/ great skeptisism, and the ability to admit he was wrong about things. Whereas the other people make asumptions and see it as fact. That's not science. That's just laughable. Nor is he a winey baby like those bigfoot guys. I mean seeing him go through the ant ritual, it hurt just watching! The bigfoot show is just a REALLY REALLY cheap drama. There's no educational value that's for sure. It may have a goofy name, but Beast Hunter does actually teach you things(that aussie worm was crazy).

I guess apl thinks big feet > big fish lol. They're just trying to pull down the people with a 13 and up shoe size demographic. Marketing fail.

I hope they bring back The Beats Hunter as well. The Ant ritual was crazy and he gets major props from having went through that. I'll never forgot how much pain dude was in and the relief he had when he was dipping his hands in the cold water.
