River sunfish

I jus caught a lil 3" sunfish he looks healthy n does have any outer disease should I put him in another tank first or jus drop him in my big tank?

I'd quarantine for 2 weeks minimum, ideally I'd do 4 weeks.
baby blue gill, well cared for it will reach about 6-7 inches in a year, up to 16" total. hope you've got a good sized tank.

Right now he's in my 37 gal alone then once he's been there a couple weeks I'll put him in my 5' tank
