It is 100% not goliath. The head/jaw on goliath is very obvious I think once you have owned one. I have had my guy since about 3"

no stripes stay till adult hood for all species except GATF and possibly brevis,
head shape can be the only way to ID most ATF, GATF have a broad snout and no stripes, FATF/VATF have more slanted/pointed mouth with stripes, and I don't know about brevis except they have small heads and compacted...

I had no idea of price, missed the thread.. I know that this is not the main issue, the main issue is you all got sold a false labled fish. Which is your own faults, that you didn't get pictures before purchase or do any research of our own....

When a vendor tells you something you should be able to trust your buying what you paid for!!!!!!!!!:irked: Now your starting to piss me off and i hate to do this on a fish thread so please use you head!!:D
 
I dont know how you guys do it. I dont see a diff. I guess you had to have owned one. Can any one put the two diff atf 2-3"er next to each other? I'm sure this has been done many times before. So many lazy folks like me must have asked for it in the past

forskalii, can't find a good picture. But headshape is similar to GATG but with stripes like vittatus..
