RO/DI unit? Overfiltration?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I don't think my landlord would be too keen on me constructing anything. Plus I don't think there's enough space under my kitchen sink.

I just did a water change, wasn't as expensive as I thought. 3 gallons of RO distilled water at Menards is $2.38, so $23.80 for 30 gallons isn't that bad at all. I don't smoke, don't drink, don't go out -- my animals are my only hobby, what I spend my "fun" money on. :)

hey if thats the best method for you go for it RO/DI are best for me and all my mess of stuff here but sometime down the road maybe you'll add a ro/di unit to your equiment and be part of the sickness

When I move and get into my new house, oh yeah, I'll be adding one. LOL! My s/o is just as much into saltwater fish keeping as I am, he has like 4 empty tanks sitting around his current house that he doesn't do anything with because he's active duty Air Force and too busy to maintain it. But with me there, he wants to get them all going again. So I have 4 empty tanks to work with and will DEFINITELY need an RO unit. :naughty::drool:
